1.) Senior Recruiting Consultant
We
require two Senior Recruitment Consultants, who will work exclusively
within an in-house recruitment team that specializes in Upstream Oil
& Gas recruitment for our Clients in Nigeria.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a minimum educational qualification of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management with 5 years or more of recruiting experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude to solving and initiating recruitment solutions, and successful management and prioritization of a high level of open requisitions.
- Have an excellent grasp of the English Language, both written and verbal
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing both new and existing Client accounts, while working towards achieving weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI's.
- Ability to discuss and negotiate terms and conditions successfully, without assistance
- Ability to introduce and successfully market NES to new clients, and discuss potential staffing needs to clients within sectors.
- Follow-up with Clients on interview feedback, and prepare contract offers for successful candidates
2.) Mechanical Completion Engineer

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas processing
- Working knowledge of Client practices, processes, and expectations with respect to instrumentation and control equipment systems, Project completions and commissioning.
- Managing a computerized Completion Management System, and providing guidance in Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and Turnover of equipment and systems.
- Developing Completions Management Procedures and functional and inspection checks, startup and operating, loop testing, Permit to Work, and preparation of Completion Dossiers.
- Ensuring that commissioning procedures, work packs, and Turnover and Completion Packages, are developed and implemented, in accordance with Systems Completion Specification.
- Using the Completion Management System (WinPCS) for instrumentation and control systems completion and certification.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have previous experience of Company/Operator Representation during similar type project execution
- Be a professional engineer with 10-15 years experience with Subsea Control Systems equipment, including topsides, as well as underwater located components.
- Mastering the content of the Design Dossier raised during Tender Clarifications for the Subsea Control System (SCS), and assisting the Engineering Manager to update documents as they relate to the SCS.
- Follow-up of the detailed engineering, manufacture, FAT, EFAT and SIT for the SCS to ensure compliance with Contract specifications and requirements.
- Reviewing the manufacture and testing programme for all Subsea Controls equipment, and monitoring technical compliance of Third Party Procurement with the SPS Contract and project Requirements.
- Reviewing and commenting on detailed design documents to ensure consistency with Drawings Specifications and Procedures.
The ideal candidate should have:
- B. Sc./B. Eng. (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Oil & Gas Engineering.) with 5 - 10 years in FPSO shutdown coordination and management.
- Project Engineering & Management skills with Field Operations knowledge and good knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Developing contract scope for shutdown activities and detailed work packs for assigned area of responsibility utilizing agreed activity norms, work pack guidelines / templates / tools.
- Reviewing work packs prepared by other FSD or PSD Coordinators. and preparing marked-up drawings (isometric, P&IDs etc) to clearly show the scope of work and the battery limits.
- Supervising shutdown preparation and operations, while complying with the requirements defined by the integrated shutdown steering committee.
- Monitoring field execution progress and reporting progress for the purpose of project monitoring and evaluation, and eventually producing the shutdown reports.
