We are currently recruiting at this time for the following position:

Job Title: Cargo Operations Supervisor 

Reports To:  Head Of Cargo
Function: Commercial
Sub Function: Cargo
Location: Lagos.


Purpose Statement:
To assist the Head of Cargo in supervising all existing cargo operations across Air Nigeria network towards ensuring commercial integrity, safe and efficient operations of cargo service delivery in a cost effective way that will ensure performance against agreed SLAs.


Key Accountabilities:



  • Provide proper documentation, supervision and coordination of all cargo activities on board daily Air Nigeria flights to and from all locations. Daily reports to be provided to the Head of Cargo.
  • Oversee and supervise the GSA cargo operations team in daily operations.
  • Conform to law and legislation of the Airport Authorities and also according to ‘’Local Operational procedures” (LOP) of Air Nigeria policies and manuals.
  • Liaise effectively with the DM to ensure non impact of cargo operations on OTP.
  • Support the Head of Cargo in implementing Business Continuity and Emergency Planning process.
  • Direct and delegate all customer Relation queries to the GSA following the agreed process with the GSA.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
The position requires talent with a university degree or its equivalent, with a min of 4years work experience in the airline industry with focus on ground services, and a good understanding of “Air Cargo” and Airport operations. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, and excellent knowledge of Air Nigeria policy and procedures.

  • Decisive and confident.
  • High level of integrity.

Working Relationships: Internal: TCO’’s DM, CSA, Airworthiness, Engineering, Sales, Commercial
External: GSA, GHA, FAAN, NCAA.
