This role is in HR Service Delivery, which is part of the HR function. HR Service Delivery provides all of the operational and transactional functions of the HR function and ensures that the work environment promotes the corporate values and effective employee
communication & relations. It also has responsibility for providing Facilities Services within the Lagos sites.

HR Service Delivery provides services to all employees using HR systems and processes that enable the administration of all transactional issues in a smooth, timely, error free and efficient manner. Also, its systems and processes are geared towards ensuring service providers render excellent services, ensuring an enabling work environment for employees, which communicates Guinness Nigeria Plc’s values.

Purpose of Role

1. To drive integrity and consistency of Human Resources and Facilities services across the business by providing excellent service delivery to the business, HR colleagues and employees.
2. To provide an enabling work environment for employees by ensuring it communicates GN Plc’s values
3. To maintain a work ethos of:
a. Timely, relevant & quality service delivery
b. Value based costing

Key Accountabilities

1) Management of contractor recruitment administration, including sourcing &, pre-screening candidates, managing candidate database, supporting the induction/on-boarding process and utilise technology to improve recruitment process.
2) Facilities management of the Lagos sites. Also includes other related services such as catering and cleaning
3) Customer services management includes overseeing all HR Services transactions and the HR help desk
4) Develop, Monitor and evaluate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in line with the strategy of the HR Service Delivery Team
5) Oversee the development and continuous update of key company information manuals and policies e.g. Employee Handbook, HR Policy Manual etc
6) Act as vendor relationship manager for outsourced services and periodic review of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with HR function & external vendors to ensure compliance & relevance.
7) Management of Guinness Nigeria expatriate quota positions. This role has accountability for ensuring that Guinness Nigeria expatriates have valid working documents at all times
8) Accountable for the management of the medical insurance providers working closely the Nursing Managers

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required
  • Graduate calibre with 3-5 years relevant HR experience
  • CIPM/CIPD qualification will be an added advantage
  • Excellent understanding of HR processes
  • Proven Facility Management experience
  • Sound knowledge of Immigration laws and requirements as well as employment laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very good customer service skills
  • Patient, tactful, diplomatic and approachable
  • Good team leader
  • Proven ability to influence change at all levels
  • Familiar with HR systems
  • Proficient user of MS office software
