AIDS Prevention Initiative in Nigeria (APIN) is a non-governmental
donor-funded organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment, care
and support of diseases of public health importance in Nigeria,
including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, among others. Since 2001,
we have worked closely with key stakeholders to reduce the burden and
mitigate the impact of those diseases through cutting edge, innovative
&
sustainable approaches.

We are seeking suitably qualified candidate to assume the below-mentioned position in our Lagos Office:
Job Title: Driver
Location: Lagos
Role Summary:
The job holder will transport personnel and materials from place to
place and take care of assigned vehicle to ensure safety and good
condition at all times
Responsibilities:
- Drive assigned vehicle to conduct personnel and materials from one place to another, including travelling within the country
- Fuel assigned vehicle and ensure that it is functional at all times
- Clean vehicle on daily basis and ensure its internal and external neatness at all times
- Keep record of usage of assigned vehicle on daily basis, using the dedicated Vehicle Log Book
- Monitor the performance/functioning of assigned vehicle and report any malfunctioning or fault noticed
- Deliver documents, messages and other goods as may be requested
Qualifications:
- WASC/SSCE, with a minimum of five (5) years driving experience, preferably with NGO experience
- Technical and Behavioural Competencies
- Integrity
- Defensive driving skills
- Knowledge of Highway Code/Understanding of road signs
- Ability and readiness to work long hours
- Ability and readiness to drive for long hours, travelling
