Ecowas Commission Extends Closing Date for its Massive Recruitment

At its 68th Ordinary Session held in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire on 11 and 12 June 2012, the Council of Ministers authorized the ECOWAS Commission to fill 52 key posts, which were published on the ECOWAS website to enable applications to be submitted on-line.

The Closing Date for the applications was earlier fixed at 31 October 2012.

Due to the numerous difficulties encountered by the candidates in applying on-line, the ECOWAS Commission expresses its heartfelt apologies for the difficulties, and hereby adopts the following measures:

The new closing Date for the submission of applications is extended to Wednesday 21 November 2012.
