A well established International Network Company is recruiting for the position of Logistics Manager.

Job Title: Logistics Manager

Job Description
Responsible for developing and improving as well as executing the logistics processes in line with the company policies and ethics. Lead and organize logistical recourses appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for Customs, trade control and other transport regulatory compliance of all the logistics activities (Import and Export), Adhere to ITC (International Trade Compliance) as observed by Emerson
• Maintain a close working relationship with business segments to ensure service delivery and the right amount of support
• Ensure safe operation in all logistical operations
• Liaise with freight forwarders, Customs clearing Agents, Government departments, Internal and external customers to ensure efficient and effective movement of goods is achieved
• Ensure Efficient and effective inventory management control is maintain and storage optimization. Monitoring the quality, cost and performance of both movement of goods and warehousing
• Analyze logistical challenges and develop/suggest new solutions
• Plan and implement material flow management system to meet planned deployment
• To create and maintain a "dashboard" status report on all shipments far use internally
• Full responsibility and accountability of logistics and warehouse in Nigeria

Qualification

• Possession of a degree/diploma in logistics or equivalent
• 4-5 years experience in a similar position
• Must have analytical, structured, but flexible and be able to influence change
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate good leadership with sound business ethics and consistency with principles, values and behaviour
