Roles and responsibilities;

• As a DCS system engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of the DCS system.
• It is your responsibility that the application will meet the agreed requirements.
• You will work in a team of engineers (at home office and remote locations) to achieve the timely system delivery.
• You will support the DCS Lead Engineer to interpret customer technical specifications for implementation, ensuring that any deviations from scope are correctly addressed to the customer through the Project Manager.
• Generally, you will get involved at the execution phase, test phase and site activities of the project.
• Design and implementation of process control automation applications using Yokogawa’s DCS system on basis of Customer input documentation such as P&ID’s, narratives and Instrument Databases.
• Co-operate with team members located at home office and remote locations.
• Discuss, test and finalize solutions together with the client.
• Conduct internal tests, third party interface tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Take part of commissioning activities at customer’s location.
• Plan and organize the assigned project work and provide feedback to the DCS Lead Engineer regarding the progress of work.,Nigeria

Job Requirements;

• Technical education (at least Bachelor level - B.Eng) or similar experience acquired by work or courses/trainings e.g. Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Operational Engineering, Electrotechnical
• 1 year work experience
