Job Description
This is a commissioned sales position responsible for influencing sales within Nigeria and the Western Africa region in the future.
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Build the Public Sector Strategy/Plan for Nigeria
- Driving education programs & sales in Nigeria, leading public sector programs & sales and coordinating ICT policy initiatives
- Responsible for Central and State Government relationship in terms of sales program, sell-to and sell-through, such as Government Assisted Programs, Government-drive Education programs and Government tenders/purchase
- Responsible for driving Education and GAPP GEO/Corporate agendas in Nigeria
- Responsible for defining, getting appropriate approval from main stakeholders, and execute Public Sector sales strategy/plan in Nigeria.
You should possess a Bachelor's degree, and/or an M.B.A. with a minimum six years or equivalent experience in the IT industry.
Additional qualifications include:
- Flexible and self motivated
- A good communicator as well as having highly developed influencing skills
- Experience working with and influencing senior government officials and public sector organisations' CEOs
- Experience in working with the government agencies
- Require a good understanding of the local ICT & education sector & the macro economics related to the Nigeria and Western Africa public sector
- You need to be able to demonstrate your experience with marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
