STORE MANAGER (Ref. SM)
JOB PURPOSE/SPECIFICATION:
• Plan optimal strategies for receiving and issuing materials/parts for smooth plant operation.
• Ensure that materials and 'parts are received and issued within company's standard procedures.
• Ensure necessary precautions are taken to secure goods in the stores/warehouse against loss.
• Ensure effective and efficient management of manpower, process and stock control.
• Regularly update the stock control system and working procedures .
• Plan for future storage capacity and periodic check of existing facilities in order to keep them in good condition.
• Monitor store operation and maintain work/material distribution equity to achieve production target.
• Participate in the recruitment and selection exercise for the store.
• Ensure continuous training and development of store personnel.
• Ensure security, health and safety standards are in place in the store environment.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• B.Sc/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Professional Certificate in Store Management would be an added advantage.
• Must be computer literate and conversant with Autocad.
• Must possess analytical and leadership skills.
• Must be able to effectively delegate duties and transfer knowledge.
• Must be conversant with store software and modern inventory management techniques.
• Must be able to work under pressure with timely delivery on assignments.
• At least 7 years cognate experience in manufacturing/cement industry with at least 4 years experience in supply chain and ERP systems
MINING PLANNER (Ref. MP)
JOB PURPOSE/SPECIFICATION:
• Manage the mining area and processes for optimal performance ._ Responsible for surveying, drilling and blasting in the mining area.
• Prepare quarry survey update and quarry report to mining and environmental authorities
• Develop short, medium & long term plan for the 3 deposits and long term rehabilitation plan for the mining area
• Control the company's contractors in accordance with existing standards of safety and delivery service
• Ensure sufficient material are available for the mi ning process
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• B.Sc/HND in Mining Engineering.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must possess good planning, communication, time management and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure with timely delivery on assignments.
• Must be conversant with block models, pit design, cad environment and basic mining design programmes.
• At least 3 years cognate experience in a well structured manufacturing/cement industry.
