Qualifications and Experience
CHIEF LECTURER (CONPCASS 09: N4.127,668 –
N5.407,503 per annum)
Candidates desiring to be appointed for this
position should have M.Sc/MA in the relevant fields from a recognized
institution with at least, 14years of teaching/approved reason and industrial
work experience or a Ph.D with 12 years cognate experience.\
In addition to
the above requirement, the candidate should have evidence of the following
publications.
i. Four papers published in reputable journals
ii. Three
other papers presented at National/International Conference Seminars
iii. Not
less than 4 meaningful chapters contribution in standard textbook(s) or
iv.
One standard Textbook

1. Candidate applying for the
position must have M.Sc./MA in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 11years
relevant cognate experience or a Ph.D. in the relevant fields from a recognized
institution with at least 9years of teaching/applied research.

to the above requirement, the candidate should have evidence of the following
publications:
i. Three (3) journals papers published and three
conference/seminars papers
ii. Not less than three meaningful chapters
contribution in standard Texbook(s) and three conference/seminar papers

1. Candidates for this position should possess M.Sc/MA in
the relevant fields form a recognized institution with at least 8years on the
job cognate experience with proven ability for applied research and production
work, or Ph.D. in the relevant fields with at least 6 years cognate
experience.
2. In addition to the above requirement, the candidate should
have evidence of the following publications:
i. Two journals papers published
in reputable journals and two conference/Seminar papers or
ii. Not less than
two meaningful chapters contribution in standard Textbook(s) and three
conference/seminar papers.

to possess a good honors degree in the relevant disciple in with at least 7years
teaching/research experience. Or master’s degree with at least 5years teaching

teaching/research experience.

Candidates for the position are required to have the
following academic qualification and professional registration with a recognized
body.
A good honours with degree in Civil Engineering/Electrical
Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minimum of 18 years post
qualification experience, substantial part of which should have been spent in
the industry or practice.
Must be registered with COREN and show evidence of
professional practice
Must demonstrate strong administrative
leadership
Must be acquainted with the provisions and application of the 2007
Public Procurement Act.
