JOB DESCRIPTION

• Contribute to the achievement of TOTAL & OML58 Upgrade Safety Targets and Zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences
• To work with the Civils & Buildings Superintendent to develop detailed and accurate short term programmes of work
• To provide accurate and timely reporting of progress against the plan; maintain a daily Diary / Report, to monitor external changes to work plans and report the effect of change
• To plan the programming of day to day resource requirement and communicate these to the construction team
• To interface with other Site Supervisors to share best practice and ensure effective resource utilization
• Control Contractors’ achievements in accordance with contractual requirements in areas such as safety, environmental protection, technical requirements, planning, production etc…
• Make necessary co-ordination and arbitration between different disciplines on site.
• Liaise and support Vendor / Contractor representative during Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phase
• Supervise a large national workforce and community contractors
• Liaise with QC Engineer and ensure works are signed off and approved prior to covering up
• Ensure sufficient stocks of materials are maintained for effective progress of works

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 years in the Construction Industry

QUALIFICATION:

• Civil Engineering / Construction / Building Qualifications
• Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures and Legislation
• Autonomous, self motivating; ability to motivate and influence people. Problem solving ability.
• Must be fluent in English, Strong communication and coordination skills,
• Terms & Conditions Building Supervisor.
